My Dear Room222,
Doesn't SUNW's new foray into Opteron/x86 computing provide them with new growth opportunities to succeed in the new IT environment?
Thank you for the courtesy of a reply.

Reggie

I think the problems at HP are at least as "structural" as those at Sun (whose main problem I would instead characterize as too willing acceptance of Republican propaganda about how good the economy will be "real soon now").

HP has slashed and burned much of its enterprise product line before proving it has a viable replacement ready. That shows utter disrespect for its customers.

JMHO.
