I challenge you to find any news broadcast where Rather is unfair or biased against honest conservatives. If he ever critiques the far right it's probably because the far rightwing are bald-faced liars and propaganda con artists these days. It didn't used to be that way BTW but they changed their tactics after Clinton came into office. Since then it's been "say anything or do anything to win" even use a phony Whitewater charge to start a massive investigation leading into the private personal sex life of the sitting president. And I'm sure CBS did not condemn that investigation. So much for their "bias". Outing Bush as going AWOL is just honest reporting. It's absolutely true.
