What's wrong with that? What are you trying to peddle? That John Kerry is a Communist or what? Now get this straight: The Vietnam War began in 1961/1962 although some folks would say it began even earlier than that. In 1964, Johnson concocted the Gulf of Tonkin Incident to escalate the war. By 1968, when it was realized that the enemy had the initiative and that the war financially ruinous and unwinnable, Senator Cabot Lodge floated a trial balloon for peace. But peace was not signed until 1975. John Kerry's presence in Hanoi helped the Republican administration in the peace process. He helped to convince the North Vietnamese that the US offer of peace was not a hoax or trickery. Ironically, the Republicans are now maligning Kerry every which way they can. Surely, they and you (a shill) are deathly afraid that Kerry might win.
