The reason was that Hodgkin was posting here, and since this was a non-moderated thread she couldn't ban him so she decided to take her ball and go home. Except that the ball wasn't hers to take. She left it lying around and some kids found it and started playing with it. But she still thinks of it as her ball, and resents anybody playing with it even when she doesn't want to. Dog in the manger?

LOL!! go check the thread header. Guess Poet still has some vitriol left in her. But we do know that she doesn't mean what she says. After all, she promised to leave SI forever, but that, too, was just pretend. She really loves us here, but feels a need to hide it, perhaps because somebody close to her might get jealous. Oh well. It's a nice place to hang out, and those nasty signs Poet pasted on the door may, if we're lucky, serve to keep out the liberal riff-raff.
