Once again this fallacy comes back to me when I hear anyone say something about the preponderance of the Liberal Media.. From 9 am in the morning until 6pm at night.. the succession of bashing Kerry talk show commentators is on up here in NC.. It's the only station one can get. So I start with Neil Beck... followed by Rush Limbaugh...followed by Sean Hannity.. NOTHING ELSE IS AVAILABLE. NOTHING ELSE BUT THE SPEAL handed out by these Right wing talk show babblers. This morning you would have had to really get upset as I did. Neil first gave the polls. Bush is leading by a landslide. He then went on to compare the Democrats with Republicans. Now, listen carefully. Democrats are more likely to be more sexual than Republicans. They are less able to be stay with their wives.. The Republicans have fewer divorces.. The Democrats ... and he was offering percentages on his survey... cheat on their income taxes more than Republicans. Big ratio here. There are MORE Democrats who do not speak to their parents.. The Republicans are more family oriented. This went on and on. Then he promised that after Bush got in the Dems would push for an Impeachment... This goes on for three hours. There is no debating. It is fed like out over the air waves to the listening public and they have to be listening if their radio is on... like a nursing mother... to a baby. When I got home I almost was sad that I was a Democrat. We are such awful people. God that makes my brother an angel and he was such a help when Mother and Dad were dying. I NEVER Saw HIM. Wouldn't we all like to debate how Republicans don't cheat on their taxes.. I will post something soon about how many of the billionaires don't even pay taxes so how could they cheat ... Their money is in CAYMAN.... OPPS maybe it is floating away right now.
