Karen, you are really really REALLY bending over backwards to give Rather the benefit of the doubt. The idea that he didn't know what was going on, the timeline of the memos and their acquisition, what was done to authenticate them...is Mary Mapes Rather's Karl Rove, and he just the talking head? LOL!

And also, as I've pointed out before, CBS News has specifically stated that there will be no internal investigation. They are stonewalling. Though they may announce today that there will be an investigation, I'm not holding my breath.
