I don't know the percentages but I am one of the Americans who believe Saddam was directly responsible for several wars, millions of casualties, genocide, torture, mutilations, state-sponsored terrorism around the world (including support for terrorist organizations), use of "wmd's" against the Kurds, a 12-year history of UN cease-fire violations, etc. I also believe he was the type of person, the type of regime that made 9/11 possible even if he didn't directly have a hand in it. And I'm quite glad he's gone, thank you very much--MK--
