liz trotta (former cbs reporter) on fox:

she believes rather had a mindset to believe the fake documents...(surprise!)

and she confirms my objection to his position as reporter AND managing editor

any way you cut it, the buck stops at rather

also....

apparently o'reilly has rather on the schedule for tomorrow night...could explain his reluctance to look squarely at the facts and continue to his relatively 'soft' stance on rather

Why are we fisking an 86 year old woman about things that happened 30 years ago?

I am 52 and don't always remember what I had for breakfast, much less the details of something trivial that happened 30 years ago. My mom and dad are early 70's - they couldn't possibly remember minor things that happened 30 years ago.

This is getting out of hand. The lady either remembers things better than most 86 year olds or is making things up. Either way, well bred people treat 86 year old men and women with respect.

Has CBS said that the 86 y/o woman told the Houston Chronicle last week she didn't remember anything about anything to do with this situation from over 30 years ago...

One week later, she is remembering....

Can anyone find the Houston Chronicle article from last week...
