Kerry is rated as the most liberal Senator with an 18-year Lifetime Record of 92 by the Americans for Democratic Action: adaction.org

Check out Kerry's support among various interest groups, including the ACLU: vote-smart.org

Be honest and support Kerry BECAUSE he is a pacifist/socialist. Don't try to paint him as something he's not. Nobody's buying that any more--MK--

Compassionate conservative? Not Bush

For those of you who are thinking about voting for President Bush in the upcoming election, here are a few facts concerning his job performance that will hopefully change your minds:

The median household income has fallen more than $1,500 in inflation-adjusted terms in the past three years, and the wages of most workers are now falling behind inflation.

More than 1.2 million people have lost their jobs.

The number of Americans living below the poverty level has increased by 4.3 million.

The number of Americans without health insurance has increased by 5.8 million--with 1.4 million losing their insurance in 2003.

Average tuition for college has risen by 34 percent.

Bush's "No Child Left Behind" mantra has left 37 percent of fourth-graders reading at a level considered "below basic."

Thirty-three percent of the president's $1.7 trillion tax cuts benefit only the top 1 percent of the wealthiest Americans.

He has yet to fulfill his pledge to get Osama bin Laden--dead or alive.

He has not attended a funeral or memorial service for any of the soldiers killed in Iraq.

He pulled out of the Kyoto agreement on global warming and gutted the Clean Air Act, while initiating the rollback of more than 200 environmental regulations.

He backed a constitutional amendment to outlaw gay marriages.

He refused to follow through on his promise to extend the assault-weapons ban.

In our opinion, the president's record reveals a lack of both courage and compassion.
