WORD FROM WITHIN CBS
Kerryspot

According to individuals familiar with the internal discussions at CBS News, Rather's report tonight did not do enough to resolve concerns. Among the words being thrown around are, "weak," "one-sided," "misleading" and "still too defensive."

Whether this opinion is shared by those who rank above Rather is still unknown.

Seriously doubt Rather and the entire CBS news org will enjoy high ratings for long. I and my wife notified every CBS news program by email that their reporting and programs are now suspect. Since CBS mgmt condones biased hype in lieu of factual reporting with Rather and 60 II why should we not believe all their programs use more imagination than fact. CBS was notified their affilliates would be notified their stations will be removed from our channel programming. Some favorite programs may be missed for a short period but worth it. They were also notified our news will come from Fox from now on. We left them with only one question an answer was requested for, "why does Rather still have a job ?"!
