Audience appears to becoming polarized

Duuuh. Tune in to a news program and what do you expect? Facts and intelligent journalism or makingupstuff and forgeries?

Yes, in the case of CBS new, the audience is getting polarized. Polarized against grown men makingupstuff and blatant fake forged memos.

If they had stood up on the 2nd day and just said, :we goofed, we were gullible, we wanted it to be true so much, we were fooled. Sorry, we will do better next time", it would have blown away.

But these fact-challenged partisans donned their "we are holy journalists and we never lie" costumes and went on and on about cr*p that was so ludicruous it was sad, really.

Btw, in spite of their lower ratings, I was watching dan and cbsnews a lot and chuckling to myself even more this past week, doesn't mean I respect the comedy or the message. It's just some perverse sense of voyeurism at work.

"...less audience than reruns of the SIMPSONS, WILL & GRACE and KING OF QUEENS."

My heart bleeds....jj

"And in the nation's top market, New York, Rather finished not only behind NBC NIGHTLY NEWS and ABC WORLD NEWS TONIGHT -- but also pulled less audience than reruns of the SIMPSONS, WILL & GRACE and KING OF QUEENS."
