Your point is well taken. By the same token I have seen no one with definitive evidence that the documents are fake. That said the onus is on CBS to prove legitimacy. What might help to clear up the story behind Bush's time in the guard is for him to release his military records. Beyond that we have former guardsmen that say they helped Bush get into the guard, and that they covered for Bush, or that they knew of Bush's problems with missing physicals and being grounded for missing them. Not a glorious career by any measure. What is disturbing is that there has been a coverup of Bush's military career and that has been documented as well. Bush can end the entire controversy by releasing to the public all of his records, and beyond that to simply come clean and tell why he missed the physical and why he was grounded and why he missed so many meetings.
