thanks... well from what I hear, IBM is cleaning up by offering offshored services all inclusive. Of course we all know what outsourced IT services are really like. Basically they are unresponsive to any really aggressive IT demands. Plus you add offshoring into the mix and its a complete no-op for any group that really needs support from IT. Otoh if you are a shop that only needs a DBA and email, offshored services probably work.
