msft in 1995 had a immensely profitable windows and office franchise and that remains true today. msft changed at the MARGIN. their core business has always been intact from a growth and profitability standpoint. sun micro on the other hand has not made a dime in over two years and probably won't make money THIS year. everything is in turmoil the stock is a shambles the coo and countless others left. and now they trot out this i'm like dell strategy as if that was the PLAN all along. excuse me while I BARF. it WASN"T the plan. they were backed into this because of VISION failure. They failed. Now PR newswire is working overtime to convince everybody with an RSS news feed that sun micro is VIABLE. Well I ain't BUYIN what they be sellin.
