KO and Buffett: He has not sold it before, when it was arguably overvalued (he said this himself), he won't sell it now, when its intrinsic value has risen (again something he said himself). Whether he will buy it, is another question.

I think KO is a reasonable buy here, although even with a drop it is as attractive as PEP. And it's not a screaming buy. It is attractive only assuming >=25% ROE going forward, which is a high hurdle, though possible for KO/PEP.

Jurgis - I own PEP and am considering KO

Last time KO approached these levels, Buffett sold $35 puts. HE didn't add to his 200 m KO shares but would have if KO would have broke $35. As it was he pocketed the put premium.
