I'm pretty sure that no one knows because the situation in Iraq is so fluid. Saudia Arabia was trying to put together troops along with some of its neighbors a few months ago TO REPLACE US troops. That was a no go for Bush of course who will not relinquish anything including his fantasy-world way of thinking.

Who knows what the situation will look like in January of next year? Things were looking fairly calm for months then the four contractors went off track and ended up in the middle of Fallujah --- has anyone figured out how they ended up so lost? Then things were calm again and Bremmer shuts down al-Sadr's tiny newspaper and things go haywire again.

Seymour Hirsch has been saying that there may be NO SOLUTION to the mess. There may be no way for the US to exit without huge problems AND there may be no way for the US to remain without huge problems.

Such is Bush's unbelievable mess.
