This is enormously pleasant. I'm impressed with how well we work together -- you are able to follow instantly the slightest pressure of my hand on your waist to reverse our direction, move to one side to avoid clumsier, less adept couples, and still keep in perfect synchronization. It feels as though we have been dancing together for years. There is something special about waltzing with someone of my own generation, who appreciates the subtlety of the dance, the flow of the music, the intoxication of two bodies moving as one, the absorption in the other. Something the young, with their angry gyrations that they call dancing, their thrashing limbs, their total self-absorption can never begin to understand or appreciate.
