The Pew poll shows that Bush's convention bounce has evaporated. The terrorists are going to influence the polls here just like they did in Spain. But they will do so in a different way. The terrorists would like to call Bush's bluff that he is winnning the war on terrorism by attacking the US troops in Iraq who are sitting ducks, IMO.

Even Sen. Chuck Hagel (R) agrees that the situation in Iraq is getting worse

Keep it Simple, Stupid ... The electorate is simple ...

.......... and can't handle Kerry's nuances.

Kerry is starting to drive home the theme that Bush simply shouldn't have acted unilaterally in Iraq. He shouldn't even respond to requests for solutions. Attack. Attack. Then there can be no charges of flip-flop. He's starting to get much more aggressive. He shouldn't even spell out his plans on issues like health care. Just say health care costs are rising and Bush has done nothing. Amen.
