I don't see why it's a contradiction. Two groups can be mutually afraid of one another. I mentioned that Dumbya really had no reason to be afaid. The press, on the other hand, does, as this is a very vindictive White House. But they are not supposed to give in to their fear. As Geraldo Rivera told the Mafia leaders, "you can't scare me out of doing my job." And it is sad that he is a good example. <G>
