Pakistan does have a cozy relationship with the CIA and the Republicans. I've read that the Pakistani ISI and CIA are very cozy as far as intelligence agencies go. The head of the ISI was meeting with some of our pols in Washington on 9/11/01. Pakistan gets a lot more assistence from Washington by doing the Republicans a favor. That's a huge incentive for a small developing country like Pakistan. Billions of dollars from Washington can mean the current Pakistani regime can rest easy about the future. I do agree that Israel had some sort of hand in 9/11. They certainly had a lot to gain from this whole War on Terror. Strange bedfellows in international espionage, Paksistan and Israel on the same team for operation 9/11. Not impossible to contemplate, since both countries have had a lot to gain from the U.S. since 9/11.
