I think the US is following the UK into 2nd class status. China and India et al can take over for us. After all, we're spending all our times, resources and efforts on what: WAR FOR NO REASON. India is minting engineers (R&D, not just tech support) and China is picking up our IOUs. Our current accounts are negative so we're living on borrowed money and time. When has a country so badly in debt (and building it under Bush at the tune of 1/2 trillion/year forever) ever done well? I hear the stupidity of half the American public on this election and I see how lacking we are as a country. Unless we see the problem and turn ourselves around, we can be Great Britain this century. I.E. Not Very Great Britain. ===== I'm astonished to hear, Bush admin official state that it would be "a good thing" to have more Iraqis die as they're put forward on the front lines. That would be good since it would make more Iraqis mad at the insurgents. Geez. Maybe the Bush admin is filled with moles from the USSR. This would be the USSR's ultimate coup.

He's sending us into a $10 Trillion freefall. We already pay $300 billion on the debt and that will grow every year under Bush. lol. sounds like a 1st step thing... "my life has become unmanageable". the debt. Iraq. Name it. it is unmanagable and we need help. one kind thing I can think of Bush, even though he appears to be mean and spiteful, is that is a pawn for others. What an easy pawn to use. and poor thing has no idea. when he needed help to stop drinking, he was dished a fundamentalist view of the world, another obsession to hold onto, rather that having someone show him the way to recovery. Now all these people with their own agendas have this man who is cracking at the seams propped up to do their bidding. And we will pay for it. they know the buttons. and it's sad. as i said a few days ago, you used to use the race bait here in the south but you have to tread careful now, so it's those evil gays and the bible. but the south is already lost. though they haven't accepted that. lol. The Civil War is not over here. consider the south lost. appeal to the sense of people in other parts of the country. aren't MidWesterners supposed to be smart? Practical? sigh. k, i'm going on again. <g>
