Steve, It's either a lack of being properly informed or a level of dishonesty to say 1.5M children are murdered. Natural miscarriages are classified as abortions. Threatened abortions, Missed abortions. All terms for natural miscarriages. Your sensationalized 1.5M figure represents treatment of natural miscarriages. You'll have to argue with a higher power on how to avoid natural miscarriages and then share the secret with the rest of us. RE: "necessary due to the woman's life was at stake" If a doctor leaves the remains of a 5+ week old fetus inside a female, that would kill her if it isn't removed. All natural miscarriages that occur beyond approximately 5 weeks need to be cleaned out with a D&C, and whether a person likes it or not that is classified as an abortion and is medically necessary for a woman's life.
