Bush is a very corrupt president who lies to us. You get the feeling that if he had his way (and he might) he would be more like a dictator than an elected leader beholden to congress.

Putin now takes Bush lead and pushes for more total power, setting back democracy both in the US and Russia.

These selfish leaders are using 9-11 and other terrorism to gorge themselves with power. In the case of Bush we have seen an increase in cheating, cracking down against the press (see recent attacks against CBS, a watchdog network) and the use of Soviet-Nazi style propaganda (Karlk Rove's specialty), dishonest smear campaigns and dirty tricks to fool voters into voting for ONE PARTY RULE. That mentality is the basis of totalitarianism. Talking about canceling elections and voter fraud are also part of the Bush power grab along with phony energy crises and massive gouging of consumers and public lands and money.
