Relax our National Debt is only 65% of GDP, the same as it was when Clin-ton was President.

cirrus - you typed an entire page without mentioned the core causes of the problem. If you had included that in the analysis - the discussion could have been credible. To not mention it is similar to not mentioning Hurricane Ivan if you criticize the Power company for the lights being out in Pensacola!

Tax cut criticism is a very legitmate issue for the election. To only talk about tax cuts when addressing the deficit is either dishonest or stupid - or more likely - political rhetoric.

Bush's deficit this year is about 550 billion when you add in the cost of the wars. The White House lies when they leave out the war costs in their deficit projections.
