It's interesting how much the polls differ. When you begin to look into the methodologies, you realize it's no trick at all to swing a poll 10% just by changing the order of the questions or considering party affiliation to be a demographic that must be corrected for, instead of part of the answer. Dick Morris wrote of this a while back, and said he favored not correcting for party affiliation, since if more people were really supporting the Republican candidate that would tend to make more people call themselves Republican at the same time, and vice-versa.
