I begin to scent the presence of another more respectable person, who laundered Burkett and the memos for Mapes' approval. Just speculation The speculation is fun. The press is on to Burkett, so I don't see how the "confidential source" will hold up for CBS. When and if they admit it next week, they are going to have to fess up. Let's face it, we are hoping for a Kerry connection. I am betting that Burkett actually did the forgery. Using Army National Guard terms and layout are the give away. Can you imagine the books that will be written out of this?
