60 Minutes and the DNC Don't want anyone to suspect that there was any tie between the show and the ads, and the rush to judgement....Maybe the DNC thinks we are all naive enough to just think that they "used some of the Rather footage" and didn't have anything to do with actually helping to get the memos to CBS in the first place.

It certainly would be interesting to check cell phone records, wouldn't it?

Dan Rather = for the rest of his life, known as the "So what if the memos are fake, it's the story that everyone was supposed to be paying attention to"....guy. What a Sad Sack.

Agreed, this was coordinated. I believe it was also intended to retaliate for the SwiftBoat ads.

They are now asking themselves what hit them. How could this backfire so bad? ;^)
