Open Letter to the Liberal Media and Interested Kerry Supporters

To Whom It May Concern: News Flash: Bush’s National Guard Service is not an issue for a majority of voters. He is not running on the fact that he served in the National Guard. No one is shocked that his family’s position may have helped him obtain the coveted slot. If you look at the complete record of his service, you can see that in fact, he does have much to be proud of. Bush has also openly admitted that Kerry’s service was more courageous than his was, because Kerry saw actual combat duty. So why won’t you give it up? It isn’t helping your candidate. In fact, the recently released Gallup Poll might even suggest that the current controversy has helped rather than hurt Bush. May I also point out that coverage this week of the CBS Memos focused not on their content, but on their authenticity. Please remember that a great deal of effort was spent convincing the public that Clinton’s avoidance of the war didn’t matter and that military service was not a mandatory requirement for the post of Commander in Chief. Are Americans supposed to totally disregard those arguments now that you have a candidate with actual combat experience? Enough is enough, lets focus on the issues please. Yours truly, Exhausted
