People keep trying to connect her. All we have for sure is that she got her dad to speak at a Dem fundraiser. Bad move on Rather's part.

You have to realize that the Texas Dems are shell shocked. 20 years ago they OWNED Texas. Now they are nothing. To make it worse, the Texas Republican party is totally "social conservative." They typify everything the Dems hate.

If 'fessing up would implicate both Rather's daughter and the Kerry campaign, that would certainly provide a strong motivation for CBS' stonewalling.
