Amen to your comments James

Most of what people call worship is nothing more than entertainment

Many have now built churches with stages with curtains
and lighting to accommodate plays rather than preaching.

Matthew 21:13 And said unto them,
It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer;

James, Every person on earth can worship the deity, we call God, without going to any man made place to "make the scene". God hears all people. As the bible says, he sees the smallest sparrow if it falls from the sky. Any person can commune with God, and doesn't need the intervention of a priest, preacher, pastor, reverend, rabbi, imam, mullah, or any other human being that has elected himself to elevate himself above the average worshipper. To me, people like the pope, are doddering old men that truly turn religion into the opiate of the masses.

The Romans, like Constantine, probably chose Sunday to be the Sabbath the same way the chose December 25 to be Christmas. They did that to coincide with the celebration of Saturnalia, who was a pagan god that brought crowds of people to Rome to revel in alcohol, and sexual deviations.

People should hold every day in awe of the creator, instead of just picking one out of a hat.
