Bush has put assault weapons back on the streets.
Only to kowtow to the extreme rightwing gun lobby.
Dozens of cops will die as a result. This is a perfect example of where Bush's real values are. All about money to him. The NRA is a big backer so he does whatever they tell him.

The AK-47 was not a weapon that was affected by the assault weapons ban.

The AK-47 is a fully automatic machine gun.

There are some weapons that were produced that looked like AK-47s that were against the law under the assault weapons law. These look-alikes were only semi-automatic. They are not real AK-47s.

A slingshot could be used as a weapon to assault with.

The AK-47 is not an assault weapon. It is an assault rifle. AK-47 look a likes may be assault weapons? Confusing? They want you to be confused. Thats how the AWB passed in 1994 by confusing everybody.
