Kerry is very strong on defense and his and Zell's voting records on military and intel budgets is exactly the same. Furthermore, the attacks on Kerry's peace dividend votes in the 80's are whollly dishonest. Cheney not only agreed with them then he boasted about them, and Porter Goss's intelligence cut suggesttions were twice as big as Kerry's. Also, if you heard Kerry speak today you see how tough, smart and effective he is on national defense. He will immediately make us safer just by being president because the world will want to join with us again. Meanwhile Zell is siding with those who have already failed us in Iraq, driven off allies and lied to us from day one.
