I know a good number of people from other countries who travel back home to places like India, Pakistan, Iran, as well as Europe and Asia. Support for Bush is weak, and many cannot understand why so many Americans support him. However, there is still a reservoir goodwill towards America. Surprisingly, many Iranians want closer ties with the United States, to help free them from the restrictions of their theocracy.
