CBS Says TV Network Can't Prove Authenticity of Bush Documents
Sept. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Viacom Inc.'s CBS said the television network can't prove the authenticity of documents it had used to raise questions about U.S. President George W. Bush's National Guard service.

Using the documents were a ``mistake,'' CBS News President Andrew Heyward said in a statement e-mailed by CBS.

CBS News and the network's management are commissioning an independent review to investigate how the report was prepared and broadcast, the statement said.

Rush? CBS has been working on the story for FIVE YEARS!!! If there was a rush, it was to do as much damage to Bush just before the election as possible.

For shame. Unprofessional. Malicious. Fraudulent.
