The real issues in this campaign have nothing to do with one news reporter or another being duped or putting out a faulty story. If that were the case then Kerry would win by a landslide as the rightwing newsies have put out hundreds of dishonest stories. The SmearVets alone accounted for dozens of phony charges. The phony WMD's stories. The stories about Kerry's intern affair. The list goes on and on. And by the way, where WAS Bush in 1972? Why can't he ever tell us? Hmm?
