The problem with these opinion polls is that they also show that over 60% of Americans believe that a majority of the hijackers on 9/11 were Iraqis. Frankly, that result is scary. What basis do most people judge news on?

Rasmussen's conclusions were determined by people who've been polled. As CJ mentioned, many Americans still believe Iraqis were on the 9/11 flights and until a few months more than 50% thought that WMDs had been found in Iraq. I believe his point was that people are not always an accurate read.

The fact that people say certain news org. are biased is at best anecdotal and based on where people are sitting on the political spectrum. It may have little to do with reality.
