Let's talk real issues on these threads. Don't worry, CBS will be fine. 60 MINUTES is still most credible. That's 50 years of a perfect track record. They finally made an error. Big deal. 60 MINUTES is still the #1 news show on TV. It just stubbed its toe. Rather looks foolish but who cares? I never watch him anyway. Fox News reported WMD's were found 3 times after the invasion. No other network seemed to report these findings. Yet do you consider them a credible network? The fact is all networks occasionally make mistakes. However the content of the Texas Guard letters is not being disputed by the White House. Only the actual documents. Bush still went AWOL, got special treatment and lied about it later. We still dont know where he went in 1972 because he ain't talking. The only charge this CBS flap might debunk is that Bush had his files cleansed. But then why are the key documents from 1972 missing?
