That's about to change. I'm hearing that starting mid-week, the Swifties will make their biggest ad buy yet (maybe twice as large as any previous). And if you look at the trend of the ads they've put out so far, it's only getting worse for John Kerry. Word is, they're in the studios right now cutting a spot that looks at Kerry's exploits in Paris when he met with the North Vietnamese (read: THE ENEMY) while he was still a naval officer.

This was written by "Junglerat", a personal friend. I like the last sentence about the medals. uw Lemme see now; (You can check the record as easily as I have just done.) John Kerry, Lt United States Navy-R (R=reserve) USNR George Bush Texas Air National-G (G=guard) TANG John Kerry - active duty: Less than three (3) years (of which less than five months in Vietnam) George Bush - active duty: More than two full years in the TANG, almost six years total (ready to be called up for Vietnam at any time) John Kerry - 3 Purple Hearts (less than 1 hour TOTAL in sick bay for ALL THREE) - 1 Bronze Star (for returning to a battle scene after rushing away in the heat of "fire"...to "rescue" a man in the water for which another boat only 15 meters away was almost to rescue, and for which that boat had stayed for the entire episode) - 1 Silver Star for shooting a wounded, fleeing enemy soldier in the back. George Bush - no medals. But his Honorable Discharge means more than the combined medals Kerry was "awarded" - Combat Pilots wings...flying in a highly sophisticated fighter jet that, in and of itself, is a moment-by-moment challenge to death. In fact, he did this for more than two years straight. Not weekends. But two years FULL. Now, who is better suited - from this and this alone - to be our next Commander in Chief? If George needs some "medals" to "compete" with Kerry, hell, I'll send him my own. I am shy only one Purple Heart from Kerry. And mine were "earned" the hard way. My two Purple Hearts cost me a total of more than 15 months hospitalization. They would mean more hanging on Bush's wall than Kerry's do, being thrown over some fence. And that is my word....
