Burkett provided the papers to USA today and to CBS, and what did they do with them? Who is Lucy Rameriz? Is she real? Why from Houston, and why March 04? When were the papers actually given to Burkett? (I see he said at a livestock show in Houston in March) Why did a man give him the envelope, and WHO WAS THE MAN? From WHERE? Burkett said he would turn over his phone records, but as of Monday night, hadn't done so. What other calls are on the phone records? Who is he turning the records over to? CBS or USA Today??? (IF so, this is a fox in the chicken house caper) How was Ben Barnes really involved in this? Besides changing his mind, and saying he had remembered wrong before (and sworn to it), and now he remembers the right thing....<go figure, he's a Democrat) Burkett flies to Bozeman, MT to "visit friends" and an hour later after the 60 Minutes broadcast, gives the documents to a USA Today reporter in Bozeman... (WHAT is this about??? Bozeman from Texas????) Did USA Today USE original sources to back up what Burkett said when they wrote stories using Burkett in Dec 2001, and Feb 2004 re troop counts, and this year re Bush's military record and the summer of 1997????? m Or were those stories like this mess from CBS...Unsubstantiated BS... There were 6 memos. He copied them in March this year at Kinkos in WACO on the way home from getting them in Houston. He then burned the copies he was given and the envelope they came in....(fear) 2 days later, he drives about "100 miles" to a place HE WOULD NOT SPECIFY, to put the newly copied documents in "cold storage" ---Where did he put them??? He turns over 2 of the 6 documents to Mary Mapes and Mike Smith of CBS News with his wife at a pizza place a few miles from his ranch in August. He gives the rest of the documents (4) to Smith about Sept 5 at a drive-in restaurant near Baird. He talks on a cell phone to his lawyer, David Van Os, and has a seizure. George Conn, who Burkett initially said was source of docs, denied any connection via email to USA Today. Why didn't CBS interview any of the people who knew Killian and/or Bush with views contrary to what the forged papers said? Why didn't they put these views on the air? I notice in this story, Burkett didn't mention Max Cleland....WHY NOT? How does Joe Lockhart fit into this mess?
