I'm saying I don't pay any attention to it, and neither should you.

I've been interested in the document scandal only because I've enjoyed seeing the liberal media get slammed for its blatant bias. Seeing Rather get what has been coming to him for his entire career has been downright entertaining.

As to its effect on my view of the candidates, there is none. If you were to review my posts here from a year or two ago you would see that my concerns about Kerry were just as pronounced then as now. I recognized he was an extremist liberal, and that he was a smooth talker -- both of which pose a threat to our nation's future. What happened 30 years ago is of little consequence today. As Jon Stewart pointed out last night, Kerry is apparently trying to defeat Richard Nixon and end the war in Vietnam by 1974.

I do think this event will have serious consquences for the news business. I believe that CBS will either diminish its commitment to news [further], OR reinvent itself and come back as a more balanced news service, like Fox.
