I am not aware of anything wrong except that it is a mature development company that has little going in terms of new projects. Feasibility is due in 1Q2005 I think. So, we cannot expect the stock to go up big when gold is in a trading range.

<What's the problem with Minefinders>

Another in a line of mature advanced stage deposits who has failed to realize shareholder value by either selling all or at least a portion. I think investor patience is wearing thin with these managements, and I completely understand why. Show me the money!

I think the problem with MFL is management. Mark Bailey's narrow vision of trying to start a mine instead of aggressively trying to market the Company to somebody like NEM. The man is hung up on a mine " shareholders don't count".
The large Co's are only interested in swallowing each other, MFL should have been sold in April I figure when large Co's price's of stock were inflated compared to now. Wouldn't surprise me if some Company made an offer for MFL while the price is so low.
If the large producers would make an offer on one of the exploration Co's, it would spark some interest in the AU/AG sector. Languishing in the doldrums like this why would investors be bothered?
My two cents, I talked to MFL about this yesterday, but was unable to get Bailey.
