I've been thinking about that Kerry woman's comments in Australia. The sheer gall of these people to claim that association with this country has endangered them (because of Bush policies). Not two weeks ago the Kerry camp, including Kerry and Edwards themselves, were falling all over themselves to denounce Cheney for daring to suggest that voting for the wrong people (i.e. THEM) could increase danger. Yet, that's been their own theme for weeks on end. "Bush has made us hated around the world." "Bush has created terrorists." yadda yadda yadda. They cry and moan about the politics of "fear," but that's what they are all about and have been for years. Playing on fear that SS will be cut. Fear about the economy. Fear. Fear. Fear. The current contenders do not even know how to run a campaign, but have an alleged fix for whatever ails anyone. They just won't spell out the details. They get away with that because (a) their constituency must be largely stupid and are treated as such by them, (b) their willing media accomplices like Dan Rather made it oh so easy............ whew. I feel better now. EOR (end of rant) :-)
