Trades from yesterday:

Added to my current short Dell 32.5/37.5 November strangle by selling to open 5 DLQ-KT and 5 DLQ-WZ.

May 2005 DELL options began trading on Monday. For contracts so far out I start with way out of the money contracts. Sold 5 each of DLQ-ES and DLQ-QY to start a short 27.5/42.5 short strangle.

Also sold to open 5 MSQ-WY, MSFT November 27.5 put. MSFT is giving their one time large dividend to shareholders on record mid November. I'll probably begin to sell these contracts if MSFT stays near 27-27.5 short term as I expect (hope) a jump in MSFT near the ex-dividend date and a chance to repurchase these contracts for a profit as they lose value.

Today:

Added to my current DELL short straddle October 35...sold to open 5 each of DLQ-JG and DLQ-VG. Now have 40 short calls and 40 short puts @ 35 in addition to my other October positions.

Cheers,
kaka
