Putin is also taking over the Russia oil industry and has put his KGB trustees on the boards of the big oil companies. Russia is the world's largest oil exporter and not Putin is the world's largest oil sheik. No longer does OPEC control the price of oil. Of course Bush would give his blessing to Putin.
