I watched Kerry's speech last night. I was impressed with what I saw. I saw an anti-establishment hero going after the administration and attacking it on what he saw as flaws in strategy and policy development. He was very methodical and deliberate. He seemed finally to be in his zone.

If this had been the Kerry campaign from the start he would have rolled over the top of the less articulate Bush. However, when I look at the Kerry campaign at large, I see a lot of incredible and despirate propoganda trying to slander their opponent with obvious spin and propoganda. I doubt they can recover.

And now this bash and flame format has become so pervasive that it has a life of its own that will not likely be reigned in.

Even Michael Moore, in his way, recognizes the problem...

"Michael Moore sends a letter to Kerry supporters telling them to cheer up! Hilarious stuff. My favorite line from the ever charming Moore: "The polls are wrong. They are all over the map like diarrhea." Kerrry-Moore. Kerry-Moore. Kerrry-Moore. Keep helping Michael, keep helping.

The last paragraph:

"Just for me, please? Buck up. The country is almost back in our hands. Not another negative word until Nov. 3rd! Then you can bitch all you want about how you wish Kerry was still that long-haired kid who once had the courage to stand up for something. Personally, I think that kid is still inside him. Instead of the wailing and gnashing of your teeth, why not hold out a hand to him and help the inner soldier/protester come out and defeat the forces of evil we now so desperately face. Do we have any other choice?

Yours,

Michael Moore"
