Ted, The argument has been that these companies built up inventory too fast and not that end user demand was down. Until recently, it seemed plausible but with so many companies warning it looks more and more like demand has flattened out if not dropped altogether.

I haven't followed very closely, but the common theme among tech companies is the earnings warning. Inventory, demand, whatever, the bottom line is that anything less than rapid growth is unacceptable these days. Kind of like the sense out there that we are still in a recession, even though the GDP continues to grow.

I believe Zeev and others who are predicting the cyclical bull coming to an end pretty soon, leading to the resumption of the secular bear. Not a good time to be long in stocks unless you're a nimble trader.
