EP, There may be an announcement about the compensation but I figure it is not going to be anywhere near covering the premium to NAV which is running about 20%. In other words, they'd need a $2 special dividend. I know the market could drive this thing further, but what special dividend is the market expecting? I wonder what will happen if it is 25 cents.

I started buying PMT at $9 and my last buys were in the $12/13 range.

I'm happy with that profit and would like to rotate to trusts with longer RLI, lower payout ratios and less debt.

Just a personal preference. I think BTE is looking really good right now. RLI is 30% more than PMT. Jan 05 the hedges come off and their payout will be <50%. That, combined with a yield of 14.34% and I think BTE is a better deal at this point in time.

I bought Zargon because it is a solid trust that I can put away and not worry about.

Cheers,

David
