PS --- what did you think of Novak's column Sunday where he said that the administration was planning to 'cut and run' from Iraq in 2005?

I didn't say that. Guerilla fighters are almost impossible to beat, we couldn't do in Viet Nam and we can't do it in Iraq. We can't tell the guerilla fighter from the civilians and end up killing both and alienating the locals. What's your point? We wouldn't be getting any Americans killed if we'd minded our own business and made a focused effort to capture the criminal Osama bin Laden, but Bush has proven incompetent to catch him.
