Not sure. The difference is that we didn't go over to the U.K. and start killing innocent civilians in our quest for freedom. Instead, we raised an army from among the U.S. colonials and resisted the Brits, which all lead to the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

And do you think there was not some horrific killing during that time......perpetrated by both sides? Back then, taking the war home to the UK was not feasible. With planes, such a plan is now more feasible.

And what happened on 9/11 was not war as we speak of it but rather a catastrophic event.

The M.E. terrorists seem to enjoy killing people all over the world, yet they don't bother targeting their own governments. Seems a little odd to me.

They do target their own gov'ts..........however, American media is not focused on that and so we don't hear about it. That's why I read the Brit. press..............they give a more complete picture of what's going on in the world.

Additionally, the way the terrorists operate is the way most of the world operates. Of course, wasn't a black man tied behind a truck in TX and dragged until he was delimbed and didn't they crucify a gay man in Wyoming a few years back? Angry people do horrific things.
