History will remember Bush as the president that started a new age of imperialism. By setting the example he's encouraged Putin to take the heavy handed approach to diplomacy. Which country is next to decide crossing borders to impose their will is the right way to do things, the American way, at leats Bush's way. Power grows through the barrel of a gun.
